Based on the same Mozilla core like Thunderbird (email client – http://thunderbird.mozilla.cz/) comes InstantBird (instant messagging client – http://instantbird.com/).
Because beta version is too old, you can use daily (nigtly) updated night builds, which can be found here:
http://ftp.instantbird.com/instantbird/nightly/latest-trunk/.
There is a problem with addon minimize to tray revived. It does not work after application start from startup. The best way how to let it work again is to process update, which needs application restart and after it plugin works again. The second way is to disable plugin (one restart) and enable plugin (another restart).
